Elphin Community College has been part of the lives of generations of students from Elphin and the surrounding communities. Our past pupils have gone on to further study, apprenticeships, employment, sport, the arts, business, community leadership and many other pathways.

We would love to reconnect with our past pupils, celebrate their achievements and build an alumni network that can support current and future students.

How Alumni Can Get Involved

There are many ways that past pupils can reconnect with Elphin Community College. Alumni may wish to:

share a short update about where they are now;
speak to students about college, apprenticeships, careers or life after school;
support a careers event or subject-choice information session;
offer work experience, workplace visits or career advice where possible;
support school projects, fundraising or community events;
share memories, photographs or stories from their time in the school;
help us celebrate important school milestones and achievements.

We hope to feature stories from past pupils who are willing to share their journey since leaving Elphin Community College. These stories can help current students see the wide range of pathways that are possible after school.

your email address;
the year you left Elphin Community College;
courses, apprenticeships or training completed after school, where relevant;
your career or pathway since leaving school;
skills, experiences or advice you may be willing to share with students;
whether you would be willing to support school events, career talks, work experience or alumni activities.

Supporting Current Students

Alumni can make a real difference to current students by sharing honest, practical advice about life after school. This may include information about college, PLC courses, apprenticeships, employment, interviews, CVs, business, volunteering, travel or career changes.

Share a Memory

We would also love to hear memories from past pupils. These may include school events, teachers, friendships, achievements, trips, sport, performances, funny moments or milestones in the life of the school.

Where appropriate, and with permission, selected alumni stories or memories may be shared on the school website, newsletter or official social media pages.

Elphin Community College respects the privacy of our past pupils. Personal information submitted through the Alumni Contact Form will be used only for the purposes explained on the form, such as alumni communication, school events, careers support and agreed alumni activities.

We will not publish your name, photograph, story, contact details or any personal information without your permission. You may ask to update or remove your alumni details at any time by contacting the school.
